Again looking for suggestions, primarily from Clay, as to what the best games would probably be in this tournament, and what players might be interesting to video. I probably would only attend one day.

12:30 p.m.: Trenton Catholic (N.J.) vs. North Babylon (N.Y.)
2 p.m.: Life Center Academy (Burlington, N.J.) vs. South Shore (Brooklyn, N.Y.)
3:30 p.m.: Hillhouse (New Haven, Conn.) vs. Point Pleasant Boro (N.J.)
5 p.m.: Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, Md.) vs. St. Anthony’s (South Huntington, N.Y.)
6:30 p.m.: H.D. Woodson (Washington, D.C.) vs. Potter’s House Christian (Jacksonville, Fla.)

Sun., Feb. 12, 2012

11 a.m.: LaSalle Academy (Providence, R.I.) vs. Moore Catholic (Staten Island, N.Y.)
12:30 p.m.: Shipley (Bryn Mawr, Pa.) vs. Bishop Loughlin (Brooklyn, N.Y.)
2 p.m.: Manasquan (N.J.) vs. H.D. Woodson (Washington, D.C.)

I’ll offer observations on the tournament in this thread, in addition to anything else I might do.

Christ the King beat Cicero-North Syracuse in what I would consider an upset, 66-60. Breanna Stewart had 29 points in a losing effort. Penn recruit Rayne Connell played very well for CTK, though soph Sierra Calhoun got the MVP for the game.

In a battle of McD AA’s, Nazareth with Syracuse-bound Brianna Butler beat Manasquan with Notre Dame-bound Michaela Mabrey, 83-73. Butler looked like the fourth best player on the floor for Nazareth, after game MVP Sadie Edwards (a transfer from Connecticut) with 26 points, hotshot combo-Wow guard Bianca Cuevas with 16, and WVU-bound Darius Faulk. Kaitlynn Flaherty led Manasquan with 32 while Mabrey got 26.
